Things to do while TGP is down

1. Whatever you normally do, only more of it.

2. Store your indignation in a battery, so it's ready to discharge when they're back online.

3. Remember to roll your eyes often. It's good for your eye muscles, and you don't want to fall out of the habit.

I'm playing my guitar as soon as my wife leaves to go volunteer at the Doheny Blues Festival...loudly.

Even though I have a pretty well sound proofed shop, you hook up a 71 Super Lead to four 4x12's and some sound is going to make it through the 22" thick walls.

I hear the new TGP software is going to be quite different than Vbulletin and there will be some nice new features. As a supporting vendor, I'm glad to see my $$ is improving the site.

But that doesn't mean I don't welcome a break from it!

Meh. I guess I'd have to actually read that forum to give a shit. Which I don't, on both accounts.

I looked at it years ago, but was just revolted by the trend following masses and know-it-alls who just live to flame anyone calling them on their BS.

TGP provides a valuable service - gives the hoi polloi a place to go rather than here. Kind of like an Aqua Park on a Sunday.

:D roger THAT rp! Couldn't have said it better.

Some of my customers go there, pick up (bad) ideas. I could make a fortune if I charged by the hour to talk 'em out: "Here's why the smart guys don't do that... "
down technical blind alleys . . .
