Hey guys,
I've been contemplating what speakers to use with my work-in-progress ODS #124 build and happened to stumble upon these over on eBay.
Price seems pretty reasonable and I know Alessandro is known for producing high quality equipment, but I've never had the opportunity to use any of them myself.
Anyone have any experience with these or similar Alessandro speakers?

Anyone have any info on these?

It must be an Eminence product? However, there is not an Eminence Neo Allesandro model listed so this may be the only way you can buy this speaker. Dunno for sure the history of this speaker. I did not know that any major artist was using a Neo mag speaker. Live and learn I guess.
You do have to wonder why he's selling them, but reading his other auctions, it seems like a warehouse bone yard sale of sorts, but also new guitar cables and speaker cables. Eh, it may be that there are new and better models on the way, you never know... IF you do buy one or two, please let me know what you think?
Funny, there's an George Allesandro article on the Eminence site about why the EJ speakers were created. I just built a High-Powered tweed Twin for myself but I had no idea the EJ speaker was made for this amp. Hm, now I'm intrigued..

Most people stall out when fixing a mistake that they've made. Why?
Re: Anyone have any info on these?
I'm suprised. Judging by the prices for his guitar pots, I thought a speaker would be $1K or more.

I know, thats kind of what peaked my interest. Especially with the voodoo inflation that something being "NOS" tends to bring.TUBEDUDE wrote:I'm suprised. Judging by the prices for his guitar pots, I thought a speaker would be $1K or more.
But even though I'd be going in blind, I'm starting to think I might have to give these a try for research sake and if I do I'll definitely report back.

OEM Eminence made for sure, can't be too far from Lil' Texas or Tonkerlite.
Must be a very good speaker, and if used by Alessandro, that's a confirmation.
Plus the price is definitely right.

I have a pair of Tonkerlites and they look very similar to that.
