Post by plysters »

Hello everybody!
I wonder about Dynaco Ot in Dumble style but what I can find just came with 4kOhm.That's not suite for 4x6l6 right?
Then if I wanna try it,How could I do?

Thanks

Hello, I believe 2k for 4-6l6 and 4k for 2-6L6. Maybe a 50w Bluesmaster?

Cw,
Thanks for reply.that what I understand too.
But just find some from triode that only have 70/120w with 4300ohm.

That mean no dynaco transformer suite for 100watt made, right?

Thanks

Personally, I would choose another transformer over the Dynaco, sticking to the BM baseline of EL34's and Plexi output iron. However, like CW said though, you could build a 2 output tube model.

TM,

Thanks for that too.Actually I use ceriatone bluesmaster kits with plan to modd it.I start the plan with classic tone twin ot(that once use with 102 model and feel good but wanna try something different).
Anyway,It came with 4x6l6.If it go with plexi ot.What do you think compare to twin ot?

P.s. I accidentally work as a guitar maker now. Then I want to make it go along well with strat I made for myself.
Here is the link that my friend ab test it with his guitar.

You know individual taste is all subjective anyway; you could use the Dynaco clone 60/120W OT at 2/4/8 @ around 2.1K, instead of 4/8/16@ 4300.

Tm,
How to use it at 2.1k instead of 4.3?

Thanks

Use the speaker taps as 2/4/8 ohm Instead of 4/8/16 ohm
