Expanding foam sprayed into plastic retail bags..

Place the bag, insert the tube and make your own compressed foam fillets. Careful not to shoot foam for more than a second. Many bags is better than trying to do it in 2. When you get the transformers tightened up you can cut holes in empty foam space for the tubes.

Yeah, shipping upside down is a good idea and, um, use washers when mounting stand-up transformers. Don't be one of those guys that relies on only dinky undersized screw heads to hold down a 12# transformer.
