Now THAT'S more like it!

This guy has it goin' on in a wannabe Hendrix meets Rage Against The Machine with a Prince guitar kind of way.

His style reminds me a little of the late SRV... SRV used to play like that when he was WEARING GLOVES!!

It's actually confusing to me...

He has one video which has a "montage?" of photos of himself posing with many different guitars over what appears to be quite a few years, but his attepts at playing seem like he's only been playing for a few months.

While it has always been my philosophy that live musicians are preferable to machines it seems Mr. Rose or whatever his name is should buy a drum machine, that might help his timing.

It make me wonder if a real drummer won't play with him because he can't keep time. On the other hand I've worked with drummers who can't keep time, either!

I'd say give the guy a break. He got the action, he got the motion
ooh yeah the boy can('t) play!

I'm not Simon Cowell, though. I remember when played like I had Band-Aids on my fingers.

I don't mind his level of play so much. We are what we are. It's the ego that makes ME laugh. I have read some of his posts on the net and he's out there. He used to have a youtube vid that was 15 minutes of ranting about how great he is and how jealous all his detractors were. It was hard to tell if it was just an act or he is for real. I still can't tell. If it's an act it's brilliant! Either way it's funny as hell!

Real or contrived, does it matter? Anyway thanks for the heads up on this guy. If it wasn't for off the radar (and off the wall!) acts like this I'd have to keep playing my classic rock LPs until I couldn't play them anymore.

Normally I associate my internal "cringe factor" to pitch perception. I was explaining to my wife just the other day how flat notes literally make me ill. This is the first time I think I've heard timing so bad that it triggered the same response. I couldn't even listen to the whole thing.

Alright boys.

Let's all play nicely.

No point in getting nasty.

Anyone checkout Reason's new amps?

They look pretty cool.
