MOV 135V at Power Switch express

Hi !

Ther's a MOV 135V on Power switch on Express.

And what thet varistor did... sorry for that Noob question :)

Some people use it and other not.

If there is a surge in the mains voltage then this varistor should absorb it which will stop the mains voltage going into the amp from being too high. Also if the mains voltage is for some reason way too high, say 240V instead of 120V then the varistor should cause the mains fuse to blow (as long as you have it wired after the mains fuse in the circuit), again protecting the amp.
