Re: My shop burned down
First, I'm glad no one was hurt. I've been through this twice and it's no fun. The first time was our body shop/storage garage. Bad wiring got that one and we all lost a lot but no one was hurt and it didn't get our house. The second one was in 2007 where my office at work burned. Just my office but it filled the entire wing of the school with soot and smoke damage. They figured it was also bad wiring. It was surreal watching the security video footage from the time we first saw the flames until the smoke was so thick you couldn't see any more.
The emotional toll it takes is unreal, but I'm glad you and your family came through it well.
