My shop burned down

Well,Now they say it was not the radio charger,that the fire was not on the work bench but started under the workbench.They are thinking something totally diff.So I can start cataloging my tools :D And get the contractor in there next week.Just got to talk to one more guy who is on vacation till tue and he will give me the green light,Thanks Gents

They" is the ins co,Its the fire marshall.Its the electrical forensic engineer hired by the ins. co.And the rep from Black and decker{Dewalt"}They all had to be there to reconstruct the fire to see who might get the bill at the end.If a tool charger started the fire then at the end they would have been responsible.At the end of the day they kinda "the tool Co" wiggled out of it.Im just a little freeked about forgetting stuff I had for a few years.Big stuff is easy its just bits and small hand tools,belts tool accessories.Im gonna start Monday,Thanks

Double check any pictures you might have as that could help you remember. Not so much pics you snapped on purpose but maybe you had friends and family in your shop and or you took pics of gear for one reason or another. Comb those pic archives for clues!

Just pulled up the thread..Sorry to hear about the fire..Scary stuff but glad everyone is OK!!.. Good luck rebuilding and getting back to making those KILLER cabs again..Hopefully soon..

Thank You,Its going well,The garage and the room above it are gutted,contractors here everyday.Im almost ready to submit my list of tool losses.Much better now ,Thanks Guys

Hey Guys.Got the shop going.Sorry about the pics.Ins co was awesome,replaced everything.Ready to build again,Thanks for all the

Had me wondering if updated insurance or building code required that. Or if you've taken on NASA or JPL contract builds. :shock:
