Anybody remember Gyro Gearloose?
Gyro apparently ran a repair shop just outside Boston a couple decades ago. A '64 Fender Pro Reverb just came in with one of his cards pasted to the back cover, right under the power switch & fuse holder. Sage advice we all know printed across the top. Seems to have a ripped corner, perhaps "edited". Reproduced below for your amusement. Fuses still cheap, transformers not so much.

Wow, I always assume they call them Safety Pins because they are safe. Off to RadioShack for some fuses.

Yes I remember Gyro Gearloose, they would do work for E. U. Wurlitzers in Boston. Our local NH music store would sometimes drop off projects for them to work on....WOW that's a long time ago!

In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
