oh no, apparently 1 AMP isnt enough to kill you!!!!! FAQ indeed!

i quote: "And our fast-blow fuse cuts the power off at just one amp (rather than the 15 or 20 amps that are exposed at a household wall socket)"

just, wow, i dont even know what to say.......

Forget the shock risks...

What about the reason guitar pedals aren't made out of clear plexi? You'd be able to hear the background radiation from the big bang... and your cell phone checking in with the nearest cell tower.

Somebody please tell me this isn't for real. I am dreaming, right? I can't imagine a more dangerous kit for kids, or adults, to "play" with. Is this guy really that stupid or is he the greatest con artist ever?

I could hear him coming a mile away and my sense of direction is miserable.

I want to see a full stack of these on stage in a live show with 4 lucite 4x12 banana cabs...Oh don't forget, the guitarist will need to be playing a Dan Armstrong lucite guitar adapted to banana cord...and must be wearing a clear plastic Elvis jumpsuit...and 12" high clear plastic platform shoes.

The band could be called "The 1 amp Lucies". At the end of the show they could all take turns unplugging "one side" of the clips and sticking it to their tongues since it's only one amp!

When I was a kid my Dad gave me a yellow plastic harmonica...They'd need one of those too...And I think my daughter used to have a "little Mermaid" plastic mic that would come in handy.

They can use kickstarter to fund shows... I think I'm on to something!

Check his bio. I'm sure he's as smart as he thinks that he is.

Biography

I've been a successful, self-employed inventor and entrepreneur for nearly all of my adult life (I'm 61 now). I started with a database design course that I licensed to Oracle, Microsoft, and all the other biggies (www.era-sql.com). Then I wrote a course to show parents how to teach their kids to read (www.rhymingreader.com). Developed a technique for watercolor painting so almost anyone could produce decent art (like my portrait above) and sold over 3000 paintings on eBay. Wrote some books for kids, teens and adults (like www.someofthepartsbook.com and www.bittersweetrye.com). Programmed a Plain English programming language in Plain English (www.osmosian.com/instructions.pdf). Built a 4000-square-foot house on 60 acres. Designed solid state circuits. Fathered the Coppertone line of steampunk guitar amplifiers. And a lot of other such stuff. Yada, yada, yada. Not bragging here, just want you to know that this project won't fail for lack of experience or ability.

I love it when you meet someone and the first things out of there mouth is how much smarter they are and how accomplished they are. So I guess they don't have much interesting to say

Shock hazards asides, the exposed tubes alone are enough to make this dangerous.

Oh I so hope this happens. I have several people in mind that desperately need one.

P.S. If there are any lawyers out there, is there any liability incurred for just giving a Kevorkian amp kit to the curious yet unlucky?
