You gotta love some Albert Collins
I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

I got to see Albert one time. I think it was at 8 x 10 in Baltimore. It was a new venue at the time, a "club"... not a seedy bar, but not exactly upscale either. It was a heck of a good time. He is missed (RIP.)

I have been doing that song for years. Good bar song and fun with the horn section.

Albert is cool. I get a kick out of the videos of Albert playing with Gary Moore in the '90s. Albert has the original licks, then Gary does his blues/rock version, and you can see the smile on Albert's face. RIP Albert.

BTW, Cbass is my hero too - shine on, you crazy diamond ;-)

Yeah I love watching Albert's live shows.

Amazing the capo'd, alternate tuning thing he does.

His tuning really isn't that different...Fminor.

It is hard to make the capo work like he does. You have to have the capo so damn tight to keep the bent strings from moving around under it. You pretty much have to modify a capo to make it work right with his technique. I love his tone...you know it's him in one note.
