ANYBODY HERE TRIED EMG'S WITH THEIR WRECKS?

I guess the title says it all. Has anyone here tried an EMG-equipped guitar through a 'Wreck-type amp? If so, how did you like it (or not)? Why?

yep. sounds good. does what EMG's do, higher input voltage, greater amounts of distortion earlier.

Thanks for the reply. Any effect on the sensitivity of the amp? Did you have to adjust EQ accordingly?

Cannot answer about a Twreck yet as my Express is not done but I have a strat with an SL-20 kit (85-SLV-SLV) that is killer on my 18watt TMB, 6V6 liteIIb with cascade mod, 5e3.
It seems to me that EMG work great on real tube amp (not any SS in the amp)
my 2 cents

yes, but typical of EMG. yes, have to EQ slightly different.
