I ordered one 24"x24" sheet of G-10-FR4 on Tuesday night. It shipped Wednesday and arrived Friday :shock: I didn't ask for any special shipping. What a smooth transaction 8)

They've always been that way. They are a UPS hub, so the stuff goes out immediatly. In CA often I get stuff overnight.

The only thing they are bad about is printed catalogs. Just TRY and get one mister!

They're great! In the Chicago area you can place an order and go to pick it up from their warehouse the same day 8)

Ive never had a problem getting a catalog from them, I have half a dozen or so at work. Ive been using them for years and shipping is always 3 days max, ususally 2.

One other thing... They have now deemed it too complicated to ship to Canada and only deal with long-established customers up here :cry:

I've ordered things on one day (even in the afternoon) and have had it delivered first thing the next day with standard shipping!!!

Yep! McMaster-Carr has always been good & very fast.

I would also like to mention Newark is as fast as McMaster - for me in California at least. I usually get my stuff next day.

They have a warehouse here in NJ. I have ordered from them early in the morning and had my order SAME DAY! They have their own delivery company that will get your stuff to you same day IF you get your order in early enough. NO EXTRA CHARGE!

Love that place, great service 40 minutes from the house.You wouldn't believe how big that place is. Granger just built a store 3 minutes away..wonder if they carry Garolite ?

Been using them extensively at my job since the mid-90s and the service has always been great. I think the only thing I've ordered from them that wasn't work related was G10...but they were quick on that one too.

Grainger might have it...but I think of Grainger as 'the electric motor' people and I go straight for my Grainger catalogue when I need a replacement motor (which isn't that uncommon at my job). For just about anything else I go straight to McMaster-Carr.
