I was watching a concert titled the Strat Pack on TV last night, until this came on (turned off the TV):

What were the producers thinking? The concert is called Strat Pack, and this guy ain't even playing a guitar! There are NO guitar players on this number at all!

Am I missing something here?

Anybody ever listen to Monty Montgomery? Here's a crazy version of "Little Wing".

If you make it all the way to the end, you'll see something I've never seen before. Takes the idea of an encore off the table.

Jeff Beck, because you can only be so rated.

That's twice in one thread. Uber.

Waylon yes not technically the best who cares when you got the groove
If not for his tremendous voice I'm sure his playing would have gotten more notice

I like the really weird guys, and was surprised to see a couple already made the list. I think I can ad one or two.

My top five:
Adrian Belew
Richard Lloyd
Reeves Gabrels
Robert Quine
Rhino(Larry Reinhardt)

Would also add:
Greg Lake
Ted Turner
Alex Lifeson
Elvin Bishop
Tommy Bolin

Notes for thought!

Walterl Becker, often forgotten as Steely Dan had some stellar guitarists play on their albums. I highly recommend his first solo album, 11 Tracks of Whack.
