I am getting weary of struggling to fit the necessary leads into your standard eyelet as sold by Watts and elsewhere. It's especially a problem in places like Power supply boards where large cap leads, high watt resistor
leads, etc are used. Does anyone have a handy source of larger eyelets suitable for turret board use? I know I can buy random eyelets from craft suppliers but it would be good to know what has worked for others.

Re: Source for Large Eyelets
One time I bought some from walmart. They where black so I soaked them in finger nail polish remover for a bit washed them off and they worked great. Still play that amp all of the time. It was a repurpose build. I used everything pulled from old amps except the filter caps and the chassis was new. Some resistors where new too, but all of the coupling caps pots jacks all vintage. Anyway the big eyelets worked fine.

The biggest eyelets Mouser carries are regular 1/8" Keystone eyelets. No larger sizes as far as I can see.

One possibility. Not tin plated but the available sizes look plausible.

Re: Source for Large Eyelets
Some people have claimed to buy eyelets at craft stores.
They are usually made of brass but bigger sizes are available.

Those rivetsonline eyelets look really good, but you probably have to buy a lot of them. I haven't done many eyelet board builds, but the few times I needed a "larger hole" I just used two regular eyelets, overlapping them slightly and soldered them together. A link of wire would be added insurance against any potential failure.

craft stores, supply shops for leather work, scrap booking, sewing supplies. etc etc
At least that's where I've found the stuff that was too large for my use...

I usually build my PS circuits with eyelets. If I need to hook mutiple items into one connection, I use 2 or 3 eyelets connected with buss wire.
