I am building a 5e3 out of a bunch of old iron I have. The coupling caps I want to use have stripes on the end indicating the - side of the cap. Which side needs to go to ground? I have swapped coupling caps on my amps before but never used caps that had poles. Which end needs to go to ground and why?
I know this is a dumb sounding question (you would think negetive would go to ground) but I know that there is more to it than that.
thanks
