The truth! lol!
Did you notice he didn't even use lockwashers on the transformers?
I guess they aren't really needed but are one of the quality earmarks I like to see. It must just be my eyes playing tricks on my with the resistors, most of my resistor collection is 20 years old or older other than my metal films.

I heard back from one local guy that said his OT was not wired correctly and after rewiring it the amp sounds great.

Those Hammond OT's with the weird secondaries can fool some people.

I like to use washers on all transformers. :)
