Re: Guitar Gallery Thread! Post 'em up!
Great looking stuff, Jim. Wish I could help out with that burst copy. I hear ya.
Sold my mandolins this week to retire some debts. Never was much of a mandolin player.
I always want everyone's guitar but there are some you just can't get. My dear friend Larry Jon had a beautiful Randy Wood 12 fretter with a slotted headstock and an armrest based on a Martin conversion of a 12 string that he played for years. I can't get the original from his son, so I made a deposit to have Randy build it again. It won't be the same but it will be the same in spirit and the spirit is in me anyhow. As happy as it is sad.

Twins Basil.
both 59's six digit #'s
The one on the right is mine that came out of Jackson prison with a couple repairs and mods. Inmate # is carved into the heal which is nice.
The one on the left came in for a setup. A girl got it from her grandfather and is kind enough to let people use it in church I tried to warn about how delicate it is and hope God protects it from broken headstock syndrome. I did offer close to retail for it but not for sale

I swore I would never play a G*bson again but I just couldn't take it any more. My NOS 2012 R9 before and after photos. Still a work in progress, waiting for a different set of Throbak's and repro plastics.
