How's this for recycling

Post by lpd »

I had an Amperex 12AX7 with one triode out. Instead of tossing it I used it in the Rocket tone stack. :) Now that's recycling. Plus lower noise to the half unused filament out of the circuit and I save 150ma on the heater current.

I guess there is a place for unused triodes.

Can't throw out good tubes even half triodes. Love the Amperex in the Rocket adds a little texture to the amp.

I rewired v2 from 123 to 678 to take advantage of the 12ax7 triode in a 7247 mullard tube
