Great work. Plus one on the details.

What clear coat technique did you use?

Here are some build pics at another site. Finish is vintage amber in an alchohol stain and a nitro clear. Flash coated the nitro for the pore buildup and then flatsanded and buffed.

If I found a magic bottle with a genie and he gave me one wish, I'd wish I could do that.

Man you built the neck and everything!

I so want to do that but with a part time wood shop (kitchen table) it is difficult to even consider it.

I love seeing stuff like that. :D

Since you guys dig this stuff here's a peek at the next one in line. The firebird. The whole center block is a neck through 1 piece with the top and bottom blocks glued on

Outstanding Passfan! Moderne/Futura are my all-time favorite pointy guitars. Maybe someday....for now I still have my Ibanez Moderne copy from 1974.

Nice start on the FB too!

Be sure your tinfoil hat has a good low impedance ground.

Is that Firebird a Korina center with Mahogany wings? What will you use for the pickups?

The center is a maple top and mahogany bottom , just like a les paul. I have a set of patent stamped Gibson humbuckers from the 80's , pre burstbucker.
