I'm not sure if I can post this here, since it's only indirectly related to tube amps...
I'm looking to build a boost which can drive a tweed bandmaster into overdrive in a live situation, and I was looking for a klon centaur type pedal...
is there any schematic available of these or any other close pedal?
Thanks

Why build one when you can buy a great copy for 25 Buck's, we just A/B'ed a Behringer 800 overdrive pedal against an older Klon and it's as close as your gonna get, Amazed me because i bought my first Klon in 95 at the Dallas Guitar Show from the Man himself ! and the Klon is very transparent and just a great booster, but for the money i gotta get a 800,
I think it's a little touchy on the knob's but still a very good buy,

yeah the Klon pretty good for pushing an amp into breakup, but there are many others boosters that do it as well or better. IMO, of course.

I would be interested in hearing more opinions on pedals that rival the Centaur. I do love what they do, but cannot afford to buy one. If a schematic of one should just happen to get PMed my way, well....
