Another forum - another correspondent has suggested there's a dose of acid on the back of the Jimi stamps. Wouldn't that be appropriate. I suspect they're self stick. Dratted gummint takes the fun out of everything. Licking a couple Jimi's to send my tax return in - naaah - it's all done over the interwebs now. Stay in the no fun zone & pay up.

Fe-mails, yes you got some prime ones in Sactown Mr Rognab. Try to pay attention to your driving while on that motobike, OK?

I actually had a chance to see Jimi live in Shreveport, La. It was either fall of '68 or spring of '69?

And saw Janis Joplin at the New Orleans Pop Festival in summer '69. This was around the time of the Atlanta Pop Festival and the Texas Pop Festival.

What great memories!

Yep, I saw her at the Texas Festival. She came onstage around dawn. Great show, that was.

I'm getting married in July, and apparently people still expect to get invitations in the mail... they respond online, but we have to pay to print some cheesy photo invite and then snail-mail them to like 100 house-holds. I thought quick and easy online event invites was the whole point of facebook... What am I putting up with all these boring pics of peoples' kids for if not for saving money on postage when I finally get married?
It's only one of the initiation rites of marriage. Pretty soon, you'll be doing all kinds of things you may have previously avoided.

Yes, I am married...

with kids...

Yup, 27 years married last month and no kids. No kids means I do even more things I don't want to do that my wife wants to do :|

It's all good though as I married the right one.

I got the sheet of 16 Jimi stamps today. I think they are among the nicest stamps I've ever seen. Also the reverse of the sheet is one huge Jimi stamp, just no postage on that side. They are square not rectangle! If you haven't yet, get one before they are gone. I haven't decided if I'll actually use the stamps, but the reverse is clearly a keeper.
