Newbie question.

Is C1 a blocking cap?, if not what keeps DC off the treb pot?

All caps block DC. But in the Express schem, C1 is a cathode bypass cap and has nothing to do with the tone stack. C2, 3, and 4 are tone stack caps, and all of them block DC from the tone controls.

My bad . the cap is C2 it is the first cap off the plate of V1b. 1 going to the tone stack. I understand all caps block DC, but thanks It is a 500pf to the Treb pot.
I guess my real question was is this what blocks the b+ (B+5) from the treb pot? Now I understand.
