Tolex era Fenders measurements needed

Post by Turret »

Hi,

Fender factory layouts and schematics we all know are blurry and crappy, since ages I was thinking to redo them for something colorful and zooming friendly

Right now I'm collecting info for AB763 boards (with tremolo), and I'm thinking to do some layouts for this. Sadly, attached (work in progress) layout for Vibroverb is way off dimension-wise, I like to keep my layouts as close to real dimensions as possible this is why I'm asking for help

What I need is few shots of Tolex Era Fender boards with dimensions - overall, I can scale the picture to get the eyelet positions myself. Chassis measurements would also be nice to have - overall dimension, pots, jacks, valves spacing, board placement inside of the chassis

Other tolex and tweed Fender measurements are also welcome :)

Thanks

Bump

Guys, all I need really is just a board dimension and valve socket spacing

It's not that much, community will benefit

If you gather up some photos taken straight from above with decent resolution, and you can find the dimensions of even one component, like one of the transformers, you should be able to scale the photo to be accurate within a mm or two. Then use that to measure everything else.

Here's an example I found in less than a minute using Google:
