please help with schematic for new member with cancer

Hello I'm long time reader here, I have been reading and learn here and had plans to start building my own amps. But all those dreams end with my long battle with bone cancer. I sold my amps and last to go was my Morgan sw22r to help pay for my treatments but it not looking so good for me,My two children one 24 son and 10 year daughter have asked me to record my music I have written and sang to them there whole life so they can enjoy them and hear my voice after I'm gone. So what I'm needing is a small special single channel amp close to my old Morgan as I can. So layout schematic that I can find a builder to make. But if any of you guys would want to build it I be happy to pay you to build it, I only need working chassis I can supply tube's and head cabinet. I going leave it to my daughter Sophia that's been learn to play guitar. So if someone could help with even just the info I need to get it too a builder that be great. I would get Joe build me new one but his long wait time is too long sine I be lucky to be around this time next year. And his last he made me was way long wait than I was told. So please even if you can't help please keep my family in your prayers.

Wow, Hugh, very sorry to hear of your struggles.

You know, having someone do a custom build is going to cost between $1000 and $2000, and assuming folks is free, would take a few weeks to accomplish. On the other hand, I see a sw22r available now on eBay for $2500 as a full combo. But you say you've had to sell your gear to pay for treatment? So maybe you're not in a position to buy such an expensive amp?

Xtin thanks for heads up. But yes that out my price point. Joe will do a 12 watt one but still around 1800 and too long time frame. If can get layout and info Phaez can do it way cheaper and about 3 weeks due to my health. So lower watts and only working chassis is what I need. So if someone got time and can help please do so. I'm looking for nice cleans and don't need reverb I still have fender tube unit. Just simple single channel until with volume tmb and master. Really just a clean sss with effects loop. And I know with lower watts it's not going be a sss true clone. I just need clean tone's that I can use to record my life works so a little part of me left for my kids and family. I never thought at 46 I be at the end of my life. But I have made peace with it and I had a good life. I'm just sad about the ones I have to leave behind so soon. My last ten years have been full of pain and suffering but I always find the strength to get trough it all for my kids. I had a short life but I have been truly blessed with love and the two best kids that you could ask for.

Thanks to all so far. And yes I want leave amp to my daughter and the reason only want chassis is my step Dad can help build cabinet and me and my daughter are going to build it together in finish that she wants. You never could imagine how hard it was try and tell a ten year old that I not going beat cancer again. She was adopted at birth and she is light of my life. After I got sick my wife kind of dumped us both and I'm her rock and world. She is having hard time with it and when playing guitar or working on something it kind gives us a moment to forget that I'm sick and just be happy. I had planed for us to build whole thing together but I have taken turn for worst and scared about how much time I have left so it better for me to get amp built and work on cabinet on my end.

Very sorry to hear this, Hugh.

M Fowler already posted links to the latest builds for a Small Special, first link has a schematic for the 50 watt version and a there's a layout on the second page of the second link.

I would assume that 6v6 (i.e. lower wattage, smaller iron) amp can be build based on it as well (with few adjustments, I would guess).

Hey trane34, my post wasn't meant to take a shot at you or anything, I just read his story and it really hit me as I'm about his age and have a young son and daughter...just wanted to be sure we knew what Hugh wanted so we can possibly help him get this built

Whew, best wishes to you and yours in this. My mother just died of bone cancer a couple weeks ago, and my 10 year old daughter was there with me through it all.

Trane34 just want say thank for the tip. And did not take upset me.I was not as clear as should have been. I'm not in market for Morgan Amps price but like leaving a nice Amp for my daughter and have family project to build it. I have long time friend that giving free studio time. Was thinking of using Randy at Pheaz to build if no one on here can with all of the knowledge from here. Just simple one channel lower watt special with effects loop. I just need it in next few months so can get done and start recording. After reading that the ots lunch box sounds life blackface fender was thinking if he could add if not already there a cathode follower pi and bigger iron and kt66 for more clean head room. Or if one of alsome builders on here that had Amp that would fit what looking for that was maybe not what you wanted too clean not enough power. Just need clean big fender to sss clean. John Mayer tone and cleaner SRV tones big open clean nice edge break up. Smooth over drive. I hit front end with boost and have partscaster with Klein jazzy cats and use fender reverb unit in effect loop with delay. So I have not been able to say thanks I had chemotherapy and been puking all day. But too all thanks so much for supporting post and prayers. It's has brought me hope and brighten my not so good day.

Please guys I'm need input on the question in my last post if you think a tweeked ots lunch box would work. And if someone could help me make couple small and addition to them like mid knob and simple effects loop. I know that that might seem simple but I don't want the builder to have a schematic so he has the way I need it with questions because I don't have time for him figure it out himself.

Please help in any form you can i got very bad news on my cancer this week at the doctor it seems that my cancer is spreading at a uncontrollable rate that they have never seen. So please all you builders that are also fathers on here if have a old build laying around that you maybe not going use that might work for me I be happy to hear about it and pay you for it so you can have money to build a new project you need. And the happiness that you help me give some to my daughter to help her. My daughter was adopted and she already at times struggled with abandonment issues so please help me with her wish for part of me that will stay with her even though I had leave her life early that I love her enough to give something to remind her of good times we had and my voice sing song about her and the love and happiness she gave me.

Please guys I'm getting desperate any help big or small is welcome. And I know everyone of you of ever faith can help by keeping us in your prayers please.
