Of course not! He wants you to buy his transformers. Ask him for the hole patterns and cut-out dimensions.

Nik should have offered this information along with his go-away-kid-you-bother-me brush-off.

If cost Is the only consideration always choose the cheapest way.

RJ's service and products are top notch, and I value my time highly.

Not trying to start a war, but Nik has always been incredibly helpful and responsive to me and he has had no problem selling me kits without his transformers (or other parts). I've moved on from kits, but I wouldn't hesitate to order from him if I was looking for something that he offers. Just my two cents.

I have no beef with Nik either, nothing bad to say about the questions/answers, but I CAN with all confidence recommend RJ his customer service and knowledge level are STELLAR.

Better quality parts and better customer service? Hmmm, my decision-making coin keeps coming up "RJ" on this one. Trust the coin. 8)

Give RJ a call/e-mail. I'm betting he's trod this path before and knows customers with Ceriatone chassis/kits that have upgraded with his tranny sets.

I could measure my Ceriatone Express converted to four gain stage shred monster and report back on PT/OT bolt pattern compared to rj transformers but I'm not very energetic today. :)

Well maybe :)

Okay put my dog Griffin to bed for his nap and took the Ceriatone Express chassis out of the head cab which is a real PITA on those tight Gabkit cabs.

PT 3 1/8" x 2 9/16" or 3.125 x 2.5625

OT 2 5/16" x 2 9/16" or 2.3125 x 2.5625

Hope this helps.

Thank you for all the specs...but after careful deliberation I decided to go with one of RJ's PCB Express builds...like the "REDHEAD" on his website. I like the layout and RJ seems to be an oustanding guy when it comes to wreck builds :D

For future reference, Nik used to also offer a special option - no transformer holes. This would allow you to accommodate any transformer you like. Not sure if he still offers that option.

And I have always had very good experiences with Nik. But having said that, RJ is great, and you won't be sorry you went with him.
