That is the schematic for the amp. It is a friend and with the treble pot completely counterclockwise you could jiggle the pot and it would go to full treble, so I assumed it was a bad ground connection at the pot. I opened it up looked saw no bad or cracked joints/traces. I resoldered the pot and mounting wings on it as well as the treble capacitor going to ground. I fired it back up and it no longer cuts out but around 6 it starts freaking out with a buzz and around 7 it has a very large and sudden volume/treble increase. Didn't have canned air on hand. Any thoughts?

That was my thought as well.... Anyone had similiar experiences where it wasn't the pot?
