Thanks for being one of the good guys! I am flattered that you are asking my opinion.
I honestly think it sounds pretty good.
The clean sound is just fine.
If it were mine, I would do more fine tuning on the overdrive, but it's not horribly buzzy like a lot of clones are,
I have a couple Ampeg V4's also. Did you know they were Ken Fischer's favorite 4x12 cab? What speakers are in there?
Number one biggest factor - speakers (after the player) but you play plenty good enough to see if your tone is changing; especially since you play blues - simple with feeling and tone = musical!
I can offer advice on speakers and things to try for a smoother overdrive.

Can you do something for me:
Would you be willing to post on TAG that you are glad my videos are available and you that you think they offer some valuable things to learn?
I would be grateful.
