I'm quite content to play either one, though I've always identified as a Fender guy, simply because that's what I was exposed to first. That said my current "perfect guitar" is a custom made SG style, given me by a very generous twin brother. Thanks, Kris!
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

I like the tele I built I went to the music store a while back and played like 50 american made tele and wasn't very impressed.

No one listens to me but juniper makes the best tele bodies light and strong extremely loud unplugged.
I'd like to try an acoustic top out of it one day if I could find the right piece

I've gone around & around trying to come up with an intelligent answer that fits what I think.

John Entwistle doesn't pick.

A well-worn tele thinline sounds pretty good in the right hands:

Yeah - I saw that.
I pondered for 2 weeks & came to the same conclusion.
But I'm always wrong - so...
I agree & you're wrong.

@ Ken M
I could have a deep, meaningful relationship with that tele.

Actually I have been wanting a thin line Tele for a while now. I may be putting some standard Tele parts up for sale to fund that project.

AND....I am NEVER wrong but I may have been mistaken.

Well if you're Never wrong, then neither am I.
That means my wife is wrong.
I vote you tell her.
Good Luck with that.

It's like saying; "what do you like better, blondes or brunettes?" I happen to love them both; just depends what I'm in the mood for...hehehe
