Interesting. Considering the relatively low awareness of the brand among TGP denizens, they'll have a challenge with price point for US manufacture and will need deep promotional pockets. I always liked the amps; the guitars are more a novelty.

Yes, interesting and cool. Anybody know how the Magnatone venture is doing?

Check this out! Some of the best amp tone that I've heard lately.

Sounds nice, but I'd like to hear the amp by itself.

Magnatone, Supro?
What's next for the reissue of classic amps.

I only hope they will stay true to the design.

No I've been looking for about 2 years now.

I even contacted Fender to find out where they got the covering for the George Benson amp but they would not tell me.

My Teisco amp has the same stuff but in red with black accents.

I've been looking too. It's almost like wallpaper, eh? I'll trade you my Tulip for that amp ...it's a great "slide guitar" :D

Maybe try a place that recovers car seats? They probably have catalogs that you can flip through and I bet it's the same stuff

Wall covering...they have a Zillion styles...may be what you need.

So the video of that guy from TGP (Leon C)... he has been selling a few of those amps. I guess he can just keep selling them as a "clone" and not have to worry about Bruce Z.?
It is a nice sounding amp....but I like the way he plays, and that is usually the deciding factor.

A lot of times int the past amp companies used luggage covering for their cabinets. ( tweed for one example).

As for Supro's, Silvertone, etc., You will have to dig deep to find
the appropriate material.
