Dammit, Tom, I already lost 20 minutes (watched it twice) of my life to this video before!
Mesmerized. Like a cat with a piece of string.

Here's another crowd pleaser:

I worked on something related to an anti-tank round many years ago and got invited to a conference on the system. It was a real eye opener to hear so much talk about tank lethality. How many times do you need to kill a tank? What's the threat of tanks in your neighborhood?
Hmmm, now that I say that, I need to wonder...

Re: Bullet Impacts
I love how it shows the frangible ammo hitting a solid obeject.
What I was on about with this video is the Kennedy assassination.
Obviously the bullet that killed him was a soft point or a hollow point or a frangible bullet.
I have hunted long enough to know what a soft point bullet does to a prey...
And for the Warren Commission to say it was a single gunman insults our intelligence.

And the "pristine" bullet too. Barely scratched, just slightly bent. What a load of bollocks.
I'm trying to live long enough to find out the truth. Or at least get past that 75-year seal on the "facts." Which will probably amount to another load of bollocks.

Frame 313 Zapruder film.
No conspiracy?
Not credible.

Re: Bullet Impacts
There are some that say there is missing frames from the Zupruder film.
It recorded at 18 frames/ sec.
So you would think there would be more than a couple frames of the impact and explosion.
Some say it was doctored.
Look up James Files.

Smithsonian Magazine did a good article on it:

I'd say their creds are pretty good.

Zepruder was horrified of frame 313 where JFK's head exploded.
Zepruder sold the rights to the film to Life magazine.
Got $150,000 which was probably a very large sum in those days.
And they cut frame 313 from it for years until it was leaked.
I have the 486 frames of the movie.
I can set it up as a slide show that advances every second for slo mo.
You know since it was the 50th year anniversary of his assassination, I started reading a bunch of
websites and stories about it.
It was a month before my seventh birthday and I was in the first grade.
There has been so much disinformation and theories put forth that I really doubt we will ever know for sure.
What I don't get is why are the records sealed for 75 years?
Everybody on the Warren Commission is probably dead or senile.

Some good reading there but to be able to prove a conspiracy......
I believe the House Select Committee on Assassinations did say it was most likely a conspiracy.

Re: Bullet Impacts
I do remember those Remington Fireball pistols which were chambered in .221 and 222. Swift.
Very much a high velocity round developed for varmint hunting.
They never did really well in sales but were a pioneering step towards high velocity pistol rounds.
All this talk about entrance and exit wounds made me remember back to a antelope hunt I was on in 1989.
We were hunting antelope when we happened upon a herd that was running away from us.
I had a Sig Sauer .270 bolt action rifle.
For those that don't know rifles, this is a very high quality rifle made in Germany.
While not getting into details, I shot a game animal at around 300 yards with this rifle which is well known for it's flat shooting abilities, in other words, it hit what you aimed for.
I hit the animal in the rear of it's head.
The round came out between it's eyes.
The entrance wound and exit wound was roughly the same size.
There was little brain matter left in the skull. (small brain?)
The other observation was that the skull had been fractured and the horns were loose feeling.
But the taxidermist was able to stabilize the head for a shoulder mount display.

1.5 - 2 mil accounting for inflation.Structo wrote:Zepruder sold the rights to the film to Life magazine.

Life mag published stills from the film but left out 313 - maybe some others shortly after the assassination. BUT did publish them a year later. And they cut frame 313 from it for years until it was leaked.
About 313, don't believe what Geraldo Rivera says. (Or Geraldo Webera neither.) Rivera full of donkey dust as usual, even in the mid 70's. He's made a career of it.
Just the way they want it.There has been so much disinformation and theories put forth that I really doubt we will ever know for sure.
Presumably anybody who really cares or could do anything about it will be too old by then. If I don't get an account I can believe, I will be one pissed off 85 year old geezer. The USA has been in the clutches of the Miltary-Industrial-Complex without a doubt for 50 years now and after another 25 absolutely zero chance of putting a stop to it.What I don't get is why are the records sealed for 75 years?
Another story you may or may not wish to believe, the JFK Secret Service contingent was out partying 'til the wee hours, and all of 'em were severely hung over throughout this event.
Reading carefully into the headache paragraphs of JFK Murder Solved, Oswald and David Ferrie in the Civil Air Patrol together @ 1955. Ferrie is another of the dubious characters involved, and not often enough mentioned. CAP had a number of functions, most public, some not so much - including recruiting high schoolers for later-on government work. Of course, on the surface, steering bright young men towards the Air Force Academy. Not so much on the surface, towards the so-called intel organizations.
After having punched up a couple of JFK references on Wikipedia this afternoon, all of a sudden can't get the Wiki website. Hmm.... coincidence?
The page you are looking for doesn't exist.
Thanks skeezbo and Teleguy61 for guidance to some material I haven't seen before.
