In my mind I am. In my wallet, not so much. But I want to be one when I grow up!
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?

Does that have a label in it that says "To my patient friend. Michael Millard."?mhartman wrote:Here's my old school Stella 12 string. Paul Geremia used to tour/record with it.
If so, do you know The Story?
I used to own it.

I'll have to check. This one has quite a story (as written by Paul in a letter), but I'll have to check on the label.Zippy wrote:Does that have a label in it that says "To my patient friend. Tweeds n Teles
A 53 that looks like it was made yesterday and a 70.
The 53 was purchased with the 51 Deluxe in the second row on the right.
Just look at the color of that Tweed. I don't think it ever saw a ray of sunshine.

Did you get the guitar from Paul? I owned one of his Stellas about 15+ years ago - sold it to "Chuck" on alt.guitar, as I recall. Could it have made its way back to Paul? I'd love to hear the story that Paul shared with you - and I'll share the one that Michael told me over the phone.mhartman wrote:I'll have to check. When I had the guitar, it looked like it needed a neck reset, so I called Michael Millard (Froggy Bottom Guitars). Michael told me that Paul Geremia had brought the guitar to him with a broken neck. Michael carved a new neck for the guitar and called Paul to pick it up. When Paul got there, they realized they had no case for the guitar, so Paul put it on the back seat of his car to take it home.Zippy wrote:Does that have a label in it that says "To my patient friend. On the way home, Paul was in a car accident and the body of the guitar, made of Brazilian rosewood, shattered. The guitar went back once more to Michael, who made a new body for it.
The only parts original to the guitar are the neck block, the top, and the hardware.
Sounded great.
