The grinder works but the water never heats. Sometimes the grinder turns itself on. This all started last night.

Does anyone know anything about how coffee enemas work? Do you need a coffee maker?

+1 on cowboy coffee. No excuses between me an my coffee. You can always get fancy and make the coffee in a pot or pitcher and then strain it. If you do that pinky lifting is mandatory while drinking.

Oh yeah, Cowboy Coffee does the trick. Made many, many pots when doing my field work. I've even used paper napkins for filters. Yuck - Cowboy Coffee is way better.

Now have a 1-cup maker, and Miles, you should know better than to have only one of something!

Sheesh. Brought this on yourself.

Not sure about that, but for $30 a cup you could get weasel poop coffee.

Never had the money to try it myself. And I would hope for that price that they would brew it for you. :)

Consider Cold Brewed Coffee. Once brewed you can throw in microwave to heat.

Of course the red hot steel into the cup method could also be used if you still want that cowboy feel.

Sounds fizzy to me. Nothing you can't get sorted out with a trip to WallyMart or similar.

Try turkish coffee - same as cowboy coffee just grind extra fine. Don't swaller that last ounce. Gakkkkhhhh....

Meanwhile how's your dog toaster?

What's a day without caffeine? Depresso...

Don't listen to those guys. Percolator. Hard to mess one of those up. Simple, good cuppa coffee. Don't have to drink grounds either.

+1

Analog coffemaking, not made in China. I either drip a single cup or use a Bialetti steamer/perc.
