Saw this movie The Devil and Danial Johnston awhile back and it really moved me.

Just heard one of his songs on Rhapsody and found this on youtube

Big fan, he's really cool. His music is fun to cover and is open to all sorts of stylistic interpretations.

Also check out Elliott Smith. Easily one of the best songwriters of the 90's-early 2000's.

I had never heard of him before.
I did a little looking at his story, and watched the vid.
I have to say, that was truly touching.

Him pulling the keys out of his fathers airplane in flight was kinda interesting luckely his father had some training in crash landing and they survived, I watched the movie a few times seems too be a cult hero, I' heard him called the worlds best singer song writer, have to admit "casper the friendly ghost" was very catchy, now that it's been brought up i'll have to watch it again, I was real bummed he did'nt get the deal with mountain dew or skittles mark
