removing the NFB from '78 ultralinear super reverb

Post by bolero »

I want to try removing the NFB from my '78 ultralinear super reverb

is it as simple as disconecting the wire that I've marked in RED, from the speaker jack?

big pics, might take a bit to load

clean pic:

path to files if those don't show up:

thanks!

Before you lift the NFB completely, try snipping out the cap that bypasses the feedback resistor. A lot of people think that's the culprit.
