I must be alright in your book. :D

You are sir. Loving the Yanks must be something like being a Cowboy fan in a recent millennium. Let the *uckers lose once in awhile for crying out loud. If we can hope the Sox into a World Champs ring this year our next project should be getting the Cubs a ring; or at least past the first round of playoffs.

Go Sox!

I'd love to see the Cubs get there. Originally from the Chicago area.

Go Sox.

My ex wife is first cousin to Ryne Sandberg. She went back for his Hall of Fame ceremony back when. An amazing man who should have had a half dozen rings but chose to stick it out with the NL's historically worst team for all those years. That's character my friend. Make Chicago proud......unlike it's current most famous former resident.

Yes, there actually have been quite a few. Todd Helton stayed with the Rockies for his whole career. Honorable and ringless...and possibly foolish.

Like I said, I'm a Yankees fan, but I do love the Red Sox. Some kind of disorder. Yay Sox. Nice to win it at home for the fans.

Next year, well we'll see. Yankees talent is old and they sold all their up and comers.

That Koji Uehara guy is so impressive. Like Mariano. One pitch, but devastating. If he has fingers long enough to throw the splitter that well, he could be a guitar player.

No worries, the Yanks will do their best to buy another title, but they aren't the only ones following this strategy. The Yanks $29,000,000 luxury tax more than the whole Astro's roster. A-Rod and several other players in the league also made more individually than the whole Astro's roster. WTF. This is one of the many reasons why MLB has lost it's luster for me. I love the game of baseball, but it's so much more fun to watch any type of baseball over MLB.

Crazy isn't it? Red Sox don't spend that much less than the Yankees (hey, what's 80 mil among friends? ) But salaries have gotten stupid. A-Rod? Please that was silly money when he was healthy (and unidicted). Giambi too, back when.

I'd pay Jeter just to sit on the bench and be Jeter.

I love that Bogaerts kid. And Uehara is spectacular.

They're not getting paid what they're worth.

Tony Romo throws it better. Unfortunately this year he had no help from the starters. Or offense either for that matter.
