Umno I'm talking bout the video that shows him clearly placing the ball in his gloven then wiping his fingers on the thumb of his mitt before grasping the ball again

Wouldn't the opposing team or anybody examining the ball be able to tell if he is throwing spit balls?

Nah, the ball is changed almost every pitch and the catcher's job is to wipe it clean before anyone gets a look.

Baseball is just like cricket except I might actually watch cricket.

Oh, no... walking races are for real. It's an Olympic sport isn't it? Cricket is more like a sauntering race.
