jtm45 ceriatone fx loop

Post by menger66 »

I seen this fx loop on ceriatones layout, seems very simple, is it a worthwhile mod? mark

That is called the simple loop. If you have pro gear it works. It's unbuffered..

Things that can handle unbuffered signal, like a pacifist, and then make up that lost gain, like say a treasury with a big printing press.

I use this simple interrupt loop all the time, works and if you need better build or buy a buffered loop board instead.

I have a kit from Mojotone I need to install in a Marshall type build.

I don't need a loop at all, I never use fx except a maybe a wah, I get All my tone from the amp, it's just this seems so simple i might as well add a few pots and wire it in, I was also gonna do the bias the way they have it in this layout, with the points on the back of the chassis, once again seems simple and usefull also giving though to add a lamar MV mark

I don't use loops much either but everyone always wants one in their amp so I install it so I don't have to add it later.

I put the bias pot and meter jacks on the back panel it really makes tube change/bias easy.
