GULP!! Those kitties got some claws!!
Re: Baseball
Looks a replay of 2004 unless the Tigers can take 2 more at Fenway. I hate these other teams all year, but now I just want good baseball. We've been getting that! (Go Sox, from a Yankees fan).
Re: Baseball
Hope the Sox win can't wait to redeem ourselves after the 04 debacle
Re: Baseball
Hope the Sox win too. Give Boston a chance to make up for 1967 "Impossible Dream" season where Boston lost to the Cards at Fenway in game 7 !! Still hurts just thinking about it...
In theory, theory is the same as practice. In practice it's different.
Re: Baseball
Guess I'll just focus on the 20 other titles we've won instead of the couple we've lost
Re: Baseball
But you gotta admit Boston is title-town.
Look they've won Baseball, Football, Basketball and Hockey championships in the last decade. Amazing stuff...

Hey hey hey.
If you Connecticut drivers can't handle the aggression level necessary to survive in Eastern Mass driving, stay out of the left lane on the Pike.
And you're the I91-I84 interchange in Hartford is a good public works project?
Just sayin'.....................................

Heck, my state is run by the same "throw money at it" busybodies that run yours. No pride here.
We had a terrible thing happen here in Newtown and instead of it being a neighbor help neighbor and we'll get through it thing - which we do well here, same as in Mass. - it's a political circus. We were going to close a school because of declining enrollment. Now that we have one that nobody wants to go back to, they're building another, on the state's dime. $50MM. And the state is already broke.
So if I make a little fun of MA, take heart. I would rather CT be governed by 300 people randomly selected from Mass. phone books than the idiots we elect. CT and MA are almost the same as long as you don't get too close to NYC.
So much for the baseball thread. Go Sox.
Re: Baseball
I am with you on all of it brother, no lie.
You have Newtown, we have the Marathon bombing.
Same thing- terrible personal tragedy becomes political touchstone.
Go Sox!

And now the Sox have the pennant! I spend all year hating this team and am really happy they took it. I am a very strange Yankees fan.
Oh. Koji, there's some guys in the Bronx want to talk to you. Bogaerts, too. And the Iglesias guy (used to be Boston).
Papi can stay (love him though). Pedroia is locked up. Elsberry, maybe. Somebody is going after him.
But that's for December.
Go Sox.
Re: Baseball
Go Cards congrats to them for playing the right way and raising homegrown talent instead of just throwing money at big names.
I wonder if Puljos thinks he made a good desicion ?Was theextra money worth it

Re: Baseball
For whatever reason baseball isn't that popular on the left coast anymore.
when I was a kid everybody was a fan.
In grade school they would wheel in the tv and have the world series on.
College football is where it's at now.
Go Ducks!
