Not watching much. I got sick and tired of paying cable so I shut it off. My two sons and my wife are irritated with me. Don't talk about baseball...please.

I like the Sauks, but the Tigas ah the team of my youth. Living in Cincy, it would be hard for me to root for the Cards, and Yasiel Puig is amazing!

Yankees fan, but I sure do like the Sox, too. Yeah, I know it's hard to comprehend. Rooting for a Boston/LA Series.

Right! It is amazingly subtle, despite outward appearances. My kid still plays; hoping he can make the high school varsity team. Pitcher.

Baseball is a great game. Both my boys are playing high school ball and I coach a traveling team. The game teaches some good life lessons. My guys both pitch as well. Fun to watch them throw a game, isn't it? Enjoy it, the years go by quickly. My oldest is a senior and will probably play college ball after high school. He ain't goin pro, but he can keep playing so we are encouraging him to pursue what he loves.

My adoptive family of 8 years are thoroughly steeped in the sport. Stepson and daughter (stepdaughter?) are both coaches and all the grandkids are involved. One grandson got himself a scholarship tossin the ball (pitcher).

So summers find me sitting on a cushion on hard bleachers at one field or other at every chance. I don't follow the majors like I did back in Texas when I was single. Used to take Mom to the Astrodome whenever I could. She was a huge fan.

So baseball? . . . you bet!

Absolutely! I don't think that a Pulitzer Prize winning author could have written a better end to the Tigers/Sox game last Sunday night with the grand slam and all.
