Nice find HeeBGB! Sano's were made in Irvington NJ. Used to pass by their factory, located in what appeared to be a decomissioned firehouse, on a side street near Woolworth's.

Now what about Ruben Sano? How does he fit into the picture, or were the names just coincidence?

Too bad there was only one LP "Cruising With Ruben and the Jets", highly recommended of course.

Later on Ruben's 'stache grew in:

Traynor YGL-Mark 3

Dude advertised on Craigslist as "broken amp"
Paid him $25

Philips output tubes and telefunkens in the pre-amp

Went home, plugged it in, pressed the red fuse re-set button and played my ass off.
The bias circuit was iffy so I replaced it later and it was fine

.........Now where did I put it?

I missed a good one within minutes here on CL Friday night. I saw a '60s Gibson tube amp needing repair for $40. In the time it took me to research the model number and go back to CL, the ad had already disappeared. I'm still sobbing quietly.

Maybe CL should put in a teleporter function so I could have sent my money and retrieved the amp instantaneously.
It's a guitar amplifier. How hard can it be?
