I am just using the oil to pop the grain but no, it tastes awful.

Get another pic in the Sun.. Follow me.

B Hefner. These guys are baaaaaadasses. The lightweight body is light but not a feather. Taps out a great note. Going to be white with mostly 1964 features.

I ordered 1-11/16ths, 56V and 14 radius. Perfection. I expected to carve the profile but it feels really really great.

Super nice flame on that neck Miles.

B. Hefner has some good stuff but had some trouble a few years ago getting the goods to paying customers.
Hope that has been resolved.

This guitar is a complete piece of shit, and yet it is the most beautiful guitar in all the world. It was a basket case arch top body that the wood shop teacher gave to my daughter. We had to glue the top back on.

The neck is from a Black Oak Arkansas concert where they smashed their guitars. The neck pocket was off, the bridge was off. My daughter and I spent hours getting the electronics in place, and then had to take it all out again because we ripped a connection.

I spent hours and shit loads of money getting it into shape to play.

But I spent all those hours with my daughter.

Are THEY still around? Crikeys, saw 'em open at Saratoga PAC for . . . ELP a mere 41 years ago. Guitar crazy mix, 3 of 'em sawing away at once, 2 sixes and a twelve, bass & drums with Jim Dandy a-hoppin' and a-howlin' all over the stage. GO Jim Dandy! They were just about out of control.

If they ARE still around what a bunch of ol' geezers they must be. OOPS (look at self in mirror.) Just a little older than me. ;)

That destroyed guitar was given to me in '73. The neck was the only thing left from the smashed guitar. My dad was program director for a rock radio station.

73 sure fits the time line. Had me going. Couldn't imagine Jim Dandy still going like that, but then again, there's Mick @ 70 & Keef & Charlie too. Those rockin' geezers... Hey You Get Offa My Lawn.

Good lookin' axe you made with it though, and time spent bonding with your daughter = priceless. Very cool daddio! :D
