Adding a bias pot to a Fender 6G6-B Bassman amp curcuit

Post by Timvox1 »

I would like to add a bias pot to the original 6G6-B Bassman circuit.
Can anyone provide a diagram on how to wire the pot into the circuit.
I have a spare 10K biasing pot from a 67 silverface AB 165 amp.

P.S.
It was suggested that I could use the Bassman AA864 diagram layout to add the bias control pot - would this work?

That will work but remember the 6G6 is deriving it's bias supply off of one leg of the HT so you need to keep that and modifiy the bottom of the 6G6 bias board to match the AA864 bias circuit. May need to increase bias voltage though.
