Pretty much every clip I've heard has been some sort of take on the good ol' blues/jazz/funk/fusion creamy lead wankfest. I mean no offense at all to the guys that like that stuff, and definitely not to the talented cats who play in that style. I enjoy it myself in moderation. Also I realize the tonal palette offered by Dumbles and clones thereof is dang near perfect for that style, so its natural that that would be a popular playing style with which to show the amps capabilities off.
But...
There's way more to the world of music that the stylistically narrow (in the really big picture) clips I've heard so far. I probably haven't dug deep enough and will keep looking, but if anyone can point me in the right direction... clips are ok, but so are album recordings which have the real thing or clones on them.

Here are some decent clips of a real Dumble along with some other amps/guitars. I like the one with the Strat. FWIW- my non-hrm ODS clone is pretty close to the way this one sounds.

Trick of the camera then.... The Steelbender clip is an HRM!! The non HRM and HRM don't sound at all alike IMHO......

I guess my message wasn't as clear as I meant it to be. Yes, rock would count as something different.. IF it wasn't fairly bluesy or funky (like that first youtube clip). But it seems like the nice cleans or OD could be used for indie/shoegazer type stuff, whatever you want to call it, or ambient type stuff or really almost anything. Just wanted a little diversity.
