Is there an "all in one" parts supplier?

Post by ODwan »

Hello everybody,
one question:
Is there an "all in one" parts supplier?
What I mean is where can I get Sprague 6PS caps, RN65 resistors and RV4 (2W PEC or Clarostat) potentiometers in one space to save on shipping?
I live Germany where those parts are hard to get, so oversea ordering is virtually a must and expensive. Therefore I like to save on shipping.
Thank you,
Timo

I've never found one, that offered the parts I want at the best price. You could probably get all but the rn65's from antique electronics, other might have better prices on some items. Where I buy my transformers, well lets just say thats all I like from that distributor.

I suppose mouser.com might come the closest.

Let us know if you find one.

I don't think so...one possibility would be to work with a forum member to order all the parts and ship them to you in one container.

Boy, if there were such a thing as a true one-stop-shop for all the parts I need, I'd fly out there and kiss their feet!! Depending on the design I'm doing, and what a guy wants, S&H alone can amount to 10% of my build cost!! Since I am prone to somewhat unorthodox component choices, it just makes things worse......

I would be ecstatic if my shipping were only 10% of my amp costs. What's worse there's no more "surface" shipping to Japan as of May. And the weak yen......boo hooo...hoooooo..where's that crying emoticon

Too bad! But thanks anyway!
Is there at least a supplier who carries RN65 resistors AND 6PS caps in suitable ranges for my upcoming ODS build?
Greetings,
Timo
