Barebones tone stack?

Post by Icetech »

Hi guys, i am going to be turning my princeton reverb test mule into a ods/reverb, probably using d'lite values, but without relays..

My question today is, i would like a tone stack without the extra switches, maybe just PAB, can you guys recommend values and what pots and such? or maybe just go with a fender type stack?

Or if anyone knows of a layout with a barbones stack in it?

Also going to try this with el84's to see how they sound:)

Just remove the switches. If you're not using the HRM type ckt just go with values on the Hybrid.

The only problem I've had with the elimination of switches has to do with the sound of the HRM OD. This sounds far better with the PAB on, so if you remove the PAB the HRM sounds pretty weak.
