I was inspired to build the amp after listening to Jag Tanna who is the guitarist for a band called I Mother Earth. Guy is a phenomenal guitarist and his tone is simply amazing. Incredibly expressive in his playing, and he has a finger plucking/ slap technique which ive never heard anyone else do.
Anyway, just finishing off the build and thought i would post some pictures and share some thoughts. The chassis is a Hammond aluminum 17' x 10" x 2". Output trannie is a Hammond 1650 NA. Power trannie is a ClassicTone Marshall 100 watt 40-18053. The faceplates are stainless with laser engraving (spared no expense).
I powered up today with a couple of hiccups but the voltages look very good, and no smoke! Tomorrow I will tube up and debug.
Build took longer than I expected, but, with this being my first build I took it slow and careful.

Man... this amp to this day is the best I've ever played. Pretty unreal! Let me know how it works out. I am very interested in building one of these.

						Re: Naylor SuperDrive 60 Build
There's a guy here in Detroit who used to work for Naylor and plays in a well-known local bar band. He has a Superdrive 60 combo he built for himself with a single 15" Eminence in it. "Which one?" I asked him. "The cheap standard one from the Legend series. It was lying around in the shop" he said. It sounds killer and covers a wide range of useable tones.

Re: Naylor SuperDrive 60 Build
Ryan if you happen to get too much 60Hz hum, you may want to adjust or replace the heater wiring.
Keeping a tighter twist and elevating it above the sockets a little higher.
Nice build!
