I like a finish that has been leveled (sanding out the orange peel) then polished.
It is a lot of work to level a finish, but we're talking about a pretty small surface area. If the wood is really nice, and your joints are tight, it's worth it.
Or not. Satin is cool too.

Well if I get a few hours and get this kitchen out of my shop. I can finish it up.I plan on puting it up for sale.I will try to document any flaws the best I can.
