Meh. So that was the storm of the century? Good luck consuming the 2 gallons of milk and 8 loaves of bread!

I think its worse here and in Maine than in Canada. Sixth biggest snow in Boston, biggest snow ever in Portland ME. I'm too tired from shoveling to take pics.. Its not actually that bad since we had zero snow before this storm.

I think you guys on the east had it worse than we did. I'm about an hour north of Toronto and the snow was up to the door handles of my car. Took me two hours to dig it out. Then the snow plow pushed more into the driveway. Most of it should melt in the next few days.
Spring is just around the corner.

Oh...quit your whining all you wussies Back East!! We get our share of frozen precip here in San Diego too. Check out my roof top yesterday afternoon! BB sized hail that actually accumulated in some spots.

Seriously though, having grown up in NH (Loudon) and lived in the Boston area for over a dozen years, I know what you all are going through. Hope everyone gets through it in great shape.

And..try to see natures beauty in it all as well. My 82 year old Dad in Loudon is chomping at the bit to get out on his snomobile to relish in the forest snowscapes. That is one of those things that I really miss about NE!

Cheers,
Dave O.

Come on in and get warm.

There's hot cider on the stove.

I think the most it ever snowed at one time here in my life, was in the 60's when we got about two feet.
Our snow is usually wet snow but that time it was real cold and the snow
actually piled up in drifts.

Wonder if any of our Northeastern members are without power. News says 700,000 people have no power.
