I was wondering if anyone had a schematic for an amp switcher. Something similar to the VooDoo labs amp selector, but with more outputs.
I figure that since we all have made our own amps, somebody must have something that allows us to switch between different ones, and leave more than one on at a time for comparison. I'm not interested in a cab switcher, I have plenty of cabinets for each, and a few extra. Any ideas? I was thinking of around eight outputs- just in case. Ed

I just spent the measly couple hundred bucks and bought one, I didn't figure that the amount of time vs money saved was worth it.
I use a lehle Dual A/B, FYI there is a used one at the Guitar Center by Park Meadows Mall (Noticed you are in Denver)

I used to have a whirlwind a/b/y switch like that. Worked pretty well for the set-up I had at the time. Super reverb, AC50. But I have 5 amps lined up right now(including dc30), and it would be nice to not have to switch cables as much as I do.

All you'd need was some relays for the switching, BUT controlling them would be a bit of a mess. Five footswitches? A single footswitch that cycles through each in turn? MIDI?

I would also recommend using isolation transformers or you will be dealing with ground loop hell

RG Keen has some nice C-mos Layout's and Schematic's of switching system's on his site at GEO, check out his artical's, might give you some more idea's,
